Kimberly MacCarron

Four-time Golden Heart® finalist in the Young Adult category, Kimberly is a member of RWA, WRW, YARWA and The Golden Network. She writes young adult books about real issues and everyday teens.She graduated with majors in Writing and Communications with minors in English and Public Relations. She worked as a speech writer, an assistant editor for a magazine, and a public relations specialist. It wasn't until after she was married with children that she decided to pursue her dream of writing her own books.Kimberly lives outside Washington, D.C. with her husband, five kids, a demanding cat and one neglected garden. When she's not reading or writing, she can be found volunteering at school, chauffeuring kids to soccer, and covertly listening to her teenage daughters talk to their friends. In the name of research, of course.
