Heather Doherty
Heather Doherty became completely obsessed with writing while taking creative writing courses through Athabasca University. Motivated by her university success, and a life-long dream of becoming a novelist, she later enrolled in the Humber School for Writers under the mentorship of David Adams Richards. Her first literary novel, Goody Bledsoe, was published in 2006 by Oberon Press.
While still creating literary fiction (mostly in the young adult genre), she is thrilled to also be writing young adult paranormal fiction with Norah Wilson. Possessing an unapologetic fascination with the paranormal and spiritual, she loves exploring supernatural themes through the Wilson Doherty YA characters and dark tales. Together they also write cozy mysteries under the name of N. L. Wilson
Heather lives in Fredericton, New Brunswick with her husband and two (amazing!) sons.
